Day 01 : Delhi
Meeting, assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel Vasant Continentalj Claridges.
Sightseeing of New Delhi-The capital of the country has long been a phoenix
rising again and again out of its ruins. Delhi is really seven cities rolled
into one, the first dating from the 11 th century. See the famous 12th century
Qutab Minar, Humayung; Tomb-built by the widow of the second Mughal King
Humayun in 1665. New Delhi was the creation of the British Raj of the 30's
and includes the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President's House), Lok Sabha (Parliament),
India Gate, the Rajpath and downtown Connaugt Place also Birla Temple Known
as Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi - Udaipur Flight
Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Udaipur. Dep Delhi 0900
hrs. Arr Udaipur 1050 hrs. Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to
Pratap Country Inn/ Shikarbadi hotel: Enjoy lunch, Acclematization with
your horses or visit bazars in Udaipur. 
Day 03 : Udaipur - SAS Bahu Horse
Conunence Horse Safari 0930 hrs. and will be approx. 32km of (5 to 6 hrs.)
horse riding. Camping at Sas Bahu. Visit Sas Bahu - Ancient 11th Century
temples with beautiful carved figures and decorative art. Dinner and campfire
will be arranged.
Day 04 : Sas Bahu - Haldighati Horse
After Breakfast, start Horse Safari (approx. 35 k.) with packed lunch. Camp
at Haldighati. A famous battle in the history of Mewar was fought here betweE;!n
Maharana Pratap and the Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is also the burial ground
of the famous horse Chetak whkh carried the Maharana and died in the battle.
Dinner and overnight stay at camp.
Day 05 : Haldighati - Kumbhal Garh Horse
Breakfast at the camp. Carry packed lunch and start Jeep safari (approx.
20 km) and then Horse Safari (approx. 6 hours) Kumbhalgarh. Visit Kumbhalgarh:A
fort built in 1458 by Maharana Kumbha, 3,588 ft. above sea level, has an
imp!essive view of the Aravali Ranges and the sandy deserts of Marwar. The
ramparts extend over the hills for a total of 22 km. Dinner and overnight
stay at camp.
Day 06 : Kumbhal Garh - Ranakpur Horse
Breakfast at the camp. Carry packed lunch and start Horse Safari to Ranakpur
approx 30 km. Dinner and overnight camp' at Ranakpur Frost Lake area.
Day 07: Ranakpur Horse
Visit Ranakpur Temple: These 15th century famous Jain temples attract pilgrims
throughout the year, Chaumukha Temple is of white marble with eighty domes
supported by hundreds of carved marble pillar, no two are alike also visit
the nearby Sadri village by jeeps. Lunch/Dinner and overnight stay at camp.
Day 08 : Ranakpur - Gogunda Horse
After breakfast carry packed lunch, jeep safari approx 25 km and thereafter
horse safari to Gogunda-Approx. 35 krn. Dinner and overnight stay at camp.
Day 09 : Gogunda - Udaipur Horse
After breakfast horse safari to Udaipur-approx 35 km. Lunch enroute. Reach
Udaipur and check-in hotel Shikarbadi/Pratap Country Inn. Dinner and overnight
stay at hotel. 
Day 10 : Udaipur Coach
Breakfast at hotel. Morning local sightseeing. Udaipur was founded by
Maharaja Udai Singh in 1567 and still very much a traditional Rajput town.
Visit the Jagdish Temple and the grand City Palace which overlooks the
Pichola Lake. |
