Cultural tour for Arunachal PradeshDuration : 11 Nights / 12 Days Destination Covered : Kolkata - Ziro - Daporijo - Pasighat - Dibrugarh - Kaziranga . Assam - Arunachal Pradesh
Day 01 : Arrive Guwahati Ex-Delhi - Kolkata Received at the airport. Transferred to Nameri Eco Camp (235km/5hours). Afternoon take a nature walk in Nameri National Park, famous for its bird life. Overnight at Nameri Eco Camp  Day 02 : Nameri Eco Camp - Ziro We get ready for a day trip to Ziro (350 kms/ 7 hrs 5754 feet from sea level). Enjoy the Cultural programme performed by the local tribe in the evening. Overnight at Hotel Blue Pine.   Day 03 : Ziro After breakfast, we will visit Hong village - the Largest Apatani village in this plateau covering an area of 24,900 sq. mt. After that, visit the Museum and the Emporium. Overnight at Hotel Blue Pine.  Day 04 : Ziro - DaporijoDrive to Daporijo ( 184 kms/ 7 hrs ). On the way visit the local tribes. Overnight at the Daporijo Circuit House ( Very Basic).  Day 05 - 06 : Daporijo - AlongToday after breakfast, drive to Along (167 kms/ 6 2 hrs). On the way visit Tagin and Hillmiri Villages. Overnight at Along Circuit House (basic) or camping for two nights stay. One day at leisure at the camp (fishing/kayaking)  Day 07 : Along - PasighatDay long excursion to the Minyong villages. Experience their rich tribal heritage. Then drive to Pasighat ( 110 kms/ 4 2 hrs). En route see theconfluence of the river Siyom and Siang and also the Pangin Village, inhabited by the Minyong tribes This drive will give you the most scenic view of the river Siang and you can take a breath-stopping walk on the hanging bridge. Overnight at Siang Guest House or Hotel (Basic).  Day 08 : Pasighat - Dibrugarh Day After breakfast drive to Uriamghat - ( 35 kms from Pasighat). Ferry across with the vehicles to Dibrugarh. Transfer to Heritage Chang Bungalow. Overnight at Mancotta Heritage Chang Bungalow.  Day 09 : Dibrugarh Morning, go for a tea tour to EthelwoldTea Estate to learn about the secret behind your vigorous cup of tea. After that we will drive to Tai Phakial village (56 kms/1hrs) – an ethnic village – a village worth exploring. Overnight at Chang Bungalow.  Day 10 : Dibrugarh - Kaziranga
Drive to Kaziranga National Park (227km/5hrs). En route visit the Ahom Monuments at Sibsagar. Overnight at Bon-habi Lodge.  Day 11 : Kaziranga Early morning go for an elephant safari to the Central Range of the park, followed by a jeep safari after breakfast to the Central range of the park. Visit the Western range of the Park in the afternoon. Evening relax. Over night at Bon Habi Resort. Day 12: Fly out After early breakfast time to depart Kaziranga and drive to the airport at Guwahati /Dibrugarh(220kms/5hrs) to board flight for onward destination. |
